The people who work at IDMC are committed to making a positive difference to the lives of the world's displaced people. To help us do this to the best of our ability, as an organisation we are split functionally into the Office of the Director and two departments.
The Office of the Director includes the Director, Alexandra Bilak, as well as a small team of supporting staff members. It works on strategic issues ranging from partnerships with states and international organisations, to the steering and development of IDMC.
The Programmes department consists of three hubs responsible for IDMC’s global monitoring and reporting, including the flagship Global Report on Internal Displacement; the thematic research agenda and the Internal Displacement Index; and information management and data and risk analysis.
The External Relations department comprises two sub-teams: Fundraising and Communications. The Fundraising team works to expand and deepen our donor base, whilst the Communications teams is focused on communicating the work of IDMC in the most innovative and effective ways possible.
